I'm new to Tibia I just created my account but I need to know what happens if you die on tibia.
Then I will know if it's worth making a hardcore character or not.

It says the account doesn't exist when clearly, it does!
This sucks I didn't even get to play the game to know how bad it is.
No wonder nobody plays it...

Well, I'm gonna tell you what happens. You lose a lot of already wasted time on your precious levels along with a few things off your gear.
Although it is clearly obvious you've made something wrong as the log-in system is working flawlessly, decision not to play that game is nothing but wise.
Tibia is the most tedious and boring MMORPGS out there with awful communities that majority consists of foreign-underage people - communication with those non-English speakers is almost impossible and incredibly frustrating.
Amount of time required to level up is so enormous it takes literally hours just to achieve a single level and the worst of all is, you spent half of that time wandering from one spot to another just to find all of them occupied due to overpopulation, and even if it is not - you're being thrown out by force.
Yes, that's right - in Tibia there's no such thing as player vs player and your skills are mostly insignificant. Only brutal force matters and is efficiently used by nerds or cheaters who spent their every moment in-game, assaulting people in groups of 10 or more characters.
Did I mention how horrible controls are? Tibia probably has been designed for octopuses as it's truly a challenge at mastering it's controls - not you just need to operate the keyboard with both hands but also the mouse - simultaneously, which is most likely caused by the chat that is always active and a faulty character's movement using mouse. There's also other shit, like getting about 7 days ban for simply saying a curse word on the public chat but it's hardly worth mentioning.
Summing up - Tibia is shit, I'd even dare to say, ladder slasher is more attention-worthy and it's best to stay away from it as far as possible.

btw its not hardcore.. its hardcore-pvp so u can die there too, and probably u entered wrong acc/pw

I disagree with you on most of this...But there is also a lot of truth in here...
First off the BR's and Pl's have overrun everyone..
Second off its mainly tibia is full of botters anymore and they took away any skill that PvP had...
But, The death penalty is what made the game..It sucks to die cause you lose so much but that is what adds to the game..as in wow you die and its no big deal
Never heard someone complain about controls..But the game has mostly been taken over by botters anymore so GL finding a good server anyway

That's correct. Player that wants to profit off his leveling is forced to stay on the same weak monster spot for hours.
It usually takes over 3 hours to gain another level that way. I simply can't think of anything more monotonous than that.
Basically, back in the days there used to play about fifty thousand people during prime time,
half of those number were players using illegal software gaining experience for them.
Nowadays, with better security and harsher treatment of so-called botters those numbers were cut almost in half - there's only thirty thousand players playing during the day.
Go figure why.



That's probably because controls come in your way on another level of gameplay.
Most of the players do not participate in high level PvP on this forum so they're ignorant to that sort of play,
but for a player with an intention to join one day, disappointment will also come around.
The easiest to realize this simple truth, one should connect onto one of the private servers,
where high levels can be achieved in a matter of hours or even minutes.
Then you'll see with how difficult it is to control a mage,
without the possibility to comfortably bind any of the skills to any keyboard button,
or how difficult it is to move without stopping randomly.

Now this might seem like I'm contradicting myself,
claiming PvP does not require skills whatsoever and then saying otherwise,
but mastering controls is a one thing and mastering controls that are a complete and utter failure,
which cannot be truly mastered completely without the help of a bot, is something no one should tolerate.

Truth is, Tibia should have been completely rewritten a few years ago, but nobody seems to give a fuck and honestly - neither will I.
