EDIT: Alas, it appears that they will never be able to continue with Mythos.

We pretty much EXPECT people to be vocal about issues. That's why we had an excruciatingly long Beta for Mythos, and drastically changed the game at numerous points. We did things people hated, they told us, and we changed them. It HELPS if that is done diplomatically, but it ain't required. I'm not sure if you were in the Mythos Beta, but that's how we worked.
If you think I walked away from this unscathed, well...
This is the most brutal series of months I think I've been through. I've lost the product I worked on for YEARS, with really no hope of recovery. This really isn't just a job to any of us - we slaved and sweated and bled for it, working ungodly hours for cuts in pay to do what we wanted to do, in the hope that we'd be able to release it, and someone would like it. And we were just yards from the goal, and lost it all.
All of my team, who I consider my family, found themselves jobless at the same time through no fault of their own. They were all working on a project that people had been actively playing for over a year, and still seemed to like, by and large - and that's the end of it, it's done. I love my team, and I'll do whatever I can to take care of them - and right now that means picking ourselves up, dusting off, and moving directly toward getting something else going so that they can all get paid and take care of their families. Most of us live paycheck to paycheck, and are at the absolute limit of our financial ability in crossing the gap to a new company.
So, I can appreciate that you're angry about Hellgate, and if you'd like to hold me responsible for that in some way, that's OK - feel free to do so. It'd be cool though if I could soak that up now, and when my team finishes putting something new together, that you'll give them a fair shake with this behind us.
Fair enough? I guarantee whatever it is we do, there'll be a Beta, and a demo, and you can decide it's not for you without dropping a dime.
