If it was open beta, you would not have to sign up and hope for an invite

It is closed beta still and the sign-up box is back because they have decided they need a bit more stress testing before going open...

i have sign Up for it and it hasnt send me a email yet

They will typically send out invites in batches based on how many they feel they need to add at that time for testing...
