Is it really worth it? With the flood of Alz on the market now days, and the expense of the actual materials, is it truly even worth the bother? Are there benefits to being able to craft gear much like WoW where there are specific epic class items that you can only achieve through crafting? That are really worth it that is..

not to craft i would say ;/

i got lv7 (mithril) craft and cant get any money out of if ;/

it will be a lot cheeper to buy what u want than acctually make it

for e.g. to craft osm of amp 7% ( 200 mill in ah)

u need:
dbl sloted gloves with 2% max crit (90 mill)
and u have like 8-10% to make it 7%

so in my opinion dont do crafter

Unless you create perfect crafts, then it might be profitable. But that happens ... well.. NEVER.
