Cabal is a great game, if your looking for imbalanced gameplay, that most of the time doesn't make sense. I played Cabal for a very long time, and enjoyed myself. But I will not stroke thin air.. Allow me to define;

Graphics = Amazing! (Some of the better "real life" character graphics I've seen in a ftp mmo). Very pleased!

Dungeons (Raiding) = Yeah it's there.. But is it?? They exist, but no one really does them. You farm them in hopes of super rare drops, that some literally spend MONTHS attempting to get, and never do. Oddly but it's true. The largest dungeon in the game is literally impossible. I think 2 guilds in the entire world have done it? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I'm quite sure.

Randomness In Classes = Umm what? LOL.. This is the biggest joke I've found over my years of playing is, THERE IS NONE! DON'T misunderstand me.. I dont mean "Can a Force Shielder run around and cast blink?" NO! I mean EVERYONE, and literally EVERYONE is spec'd for DPS!! There is NO other way to build ANY class except for DPS.

ForceShielder = DPS (Should be a damn tank for dungeon raiding, but nope.. Their DPS)
ForceArcher = DPS (They were meant to be DPS/Healer/Buffer in the game, but thats pointless) To be in a dungeon and see a ForceArcher healing would be a laughing stock..
Warrior = DPS (Possibly a tank?? NOPE DPS)
Wizard = DPS (Obviously DPS)
ForceBlader = DPS (Weak ass DPS)
Blader = DPS (Best solo class in game. Level mine from 1-180 completely solo) RARELY joined a group, excluding when in PI but was for EXP benefits.

Get the picture?? Every pvp, every dungeon, every build, every spec, is a DPS race. No one cares about anything else in the entire game other than DPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's fukn disgusting.. Every class has TWO direction to go by the way.. BUT theres only ONE SINGLE direction to take or you suck ass. It's so retarded on that aspect. I've never in my life played an MMO that was SO stingent as this one. It's seriously obssesive to by it's gaming community. They will defend it till the cows come home. But everyone that has played this game (on a serious level) will agree with me.

I have 2 lvl 180's, and about 4-5 160-175's. Trust me I know what im talking about, and have played a very long time. I'm one of those gamers that have invest upwards of $1,000 into this game, and cant accept quitting BECAUSE i've spent so much time and money into it. Make sense? I justify it by all the money ive dumped into this pit, and wish I hadn't..

Visually the game is great. One of if not thee best over the head hack/slash type mmo i've ever played. The skills visuals are absolutely beautiful. The PvP is great too. Although imbalanced as all hell, and I seriously mean VERY imbalanced (unless 1on1 duels of course with rules) it's still very exciting. -Even though it NEVER changes. Christ the map is the same from your first pvp experiance till your last at lvl 180. Not a damn thing changes other than players and skills..

Sorry to write you a book, but I figured you need to hear it all. IF I WERE YOU, take my advice, and wait for the next gen MMO's releasing VERY soon. Cabal 2 will be coming out next year. Theres videos on youtube of it, and it looks SWEEET!

its a game you play for years, not months, so if you think about that, you will figure some things out

Ive been seriously thinkin bout going back to D2.. Most of my work buddies are now playing D2 again, just because of their excitement for Diablo 3 to release. What you guys playin? Classic, or expo/ladder? i thought bout goin back and playing Classic. I like not having all the bs runes
