I have an apartment with 4 rooms just five-ten minutes away from the very central Oslo and it cost us a little bit more than 2000 euro per month. 2 rooms go for about 700-1100 euro per month, depending on a lot of stuff. Remember that you have to have a deposit for the apartment. The deposit is usually 3 months of rent you have to pay the owners. You will get these money back when you move, unless you break a lot of stuff.
