8p is overrated when you don't have a well-equipped character. 3p is the most significant drop improvement-to-extra time spent ratio.

Upplever mer drops faktiskt, 3 uniqa armors i CS, uniq Amu från kista i Pits m.m

do you know if there is a chart or something that demonstrates drops/mob Health depending on /player setting? id like to know more of this as the slightest % improvement can mean alot in the long run :)

To explain exactly how additional players improves drops I'd have to go into how the whole item drop process works in D2 but the calc from the german community site I attempted to link earlier can help you compare the drop odds; http://tinyurl.com/nzuqdr8
Monster HP goes up by +50% for each additional player which generally leads to the conclusion that 8p isn't worthwhile UNLESS your char is very strong and/or you want exp. In this scenario you also have to factor in the extra time it takes you to manually load in the additional chars which has a significant impact the shorter your runs are.

Since you aren't limited in # of games/hour I'd recommend doing 1-2 target fast runs instead of the "traditional" andy-pits-meph-cs-eld-pindle-baal type runs if you want to be effective. With a CtA and Reapers/Kiras/Treachery merc it's very easy to do <30 sec Trav runs on a blizz sorc. Just put something like this on and get in the zone ^^ https://youtu.be/1x2aDnaTvLo

might be a good idea but don't you think cs would be better? im thinking theres alot more mobs,sure worse droprates but much more kills
i wish this wasnt as advanced as it is :p

CS is difficult to quantify because the varying amount of monsters/bosspacks and the difficulty. Overall on p1 rune odds are very poor everywhere outside Trav. On the other hand monsters in CS(minus seals and diablo) can drop high-end uniques like Griffon, DF, DWeb, CoA. If you're serious about finding those I'd recommend you only run pits/AT/CS as soon as your char is capable.
If you plan to do a lot of Meph runs I'd recommend using a BO-barb to do questbug runs like you do in classic. Generally I don't think Meph is worth running once you have the basics for a sorc though.
