Hello Swedish guys,

I am Mathijs a student from fonty's university in Holland.
I am going on an internship at Linnaeus University in Vaxjo.
Is there someone here that lives / study's in this city?
Is it a nice place for students?
What do you guys do when you go out, I heard alcohol is very expansive. (in Holland we always drink allot)
Any tips before i go there.

I live in vaxjo, its sort of ok. The university place is realy great right now, many students and nice student appartments.Theres like 6 places to go out to

you drink allot at home before you go out? or arn't prices like 8euro/1 beer?
in holland 2 euro/1 beer

prices out on the bar is like 5-8 euro each beer. But yeah, i usually drink alot before goin out, then i might buy like a shot or smthing to get things going!
But some of the places are realy nice, which i think you'll enjoy, but some are complete crap, like "sportz". Bars i mean

4-5euro per beer and ~11euros for a drink if 1euro = 10kr

And yes u drink before u go out but beware of drinking to much cuz they mby wont let u in bcuz ure to drunk etc
