Why don't you apply yourself and think of this for a second. How many posts does it take to seal a trade? Just because you need to spam threads and post useless comments various times in order to get a trade completed.. doesnt mean I have to. In fact, I can seal a trade in 1 or 2 posts and carry out the trade via personal messages.

Anyway, I don't care if you don't think I have traded "many times" or if my "post count says otherwise". The point that I was trying to make is that not everyone is a scammer.

To Frasia, yes, I am interested in incrimental trades. Please post your name here and some possible trade times. I would rather keep this trade in view of the public eye since there isn't a mediator involved.

post counts as I view them, no matter who you are...this includes you my 09 friend.

70-80% spam posts
5-10% posts to answer questions
5% trades that didn't go through
the rest is left to the posts of trades you actually went through with.

And on site that is dedicated to making trades in various games, then the word "many" has a whole new meaning, it does not mean a mere 5 or so trades, you are now talking trades well within the 100s.

I am not implying you are trying to scam anyone here, I am just saying that you have no right to ask anyone to give first so liberally.

If he would have asked you how you wanted to do it, then you could have replied "I would be more comfortable if you gave first, or would could use a medi"

It is also never alright for anyone to suggest another player that is not tagged or otherwise "well known" to be trusted as a 3rd party for a trade.

I'm pretty much free whenever you are, just let me know a time or pm me ingame. My chars on Lydian are Fraisa and MasterIshmael, the one on pantera is Freysia but I'm never on her.

as to the others spamming my thread, pls stop. I want to trade pantera rupee for fg or lydian items, not discuss the nature of so called trusted players. I agree that he was heavy handed in his post and that tripped my warning bells, but we are past that, ok? Lets just get back to trading.

Secondly, you are not a trusted member or a well known member, so please do not tell me that I have NO RIGHT to ask something so "liberally"
Thirdly, Fraisa said that he/she wasn't comfortable with giving first, and I politely agreed. We are in the midst of working out a trade. Please read before you post.
Finally, you are saying that I suggested someone to be a third party in the trade? When did I say that my 06 friend? Did you think that I suggested that we use HolyShield as a third party for the trade? Go back and read what I said. I only said his name to show Frasia that this isn't my first time trading on Rappelz and that I have traded before with a traded named HolyShield. How we traded was he gave me the items and I gave him the forum gold. That was how my previous trade was conducted, therefore that is how I am suggesting this trade be conducted. Frasia said no and I said okay. That's all.

Here my 06 friend, let me help you find the post that I made regarding HolyShield: "If this is a problem, you can ask HolyShield. I've traded him before and I've always given him the forum gold after he trades me." See, I merely wanted Fraisa to be more reassured that I have completed trades fairly in rappelz.

Finally, why did I feel that I have the "right" to ask Fraisa to trade me first? Obviously I am 09 as you keep pointing out, and by the countless mentions of "trusted" or well-known members, I hope that you are not feeling that you are one...? Anyways, I only asked this because I NOTICED that Fraisa joined JSP and the FIRST post he/she made was in this thread. Obviously, by not putting myself in risk, I would ask him/her to trade me first. Why did I think this is acceptable? I did MANY trades in the diablo 2 USEAST non ladder section. This is how all those traders requested that the trade be carried out. I, being the person with the lower post count and join date was REQUIRED to trade first when trading without a mediator. The only reason I suggested this method is because it is exactly what was enforced upon me. I am completely fine with using a mediator or Fraisa's suggested idea of incremented trades (good idea mate). Anyways, knives... you are not even part of this trade, therefore your posts could be considered spam.. I think... guess I'm too 09 to know for sure.

My character on Pantera is "Steric".
I will be on whenever you want me to be. I live in Mountain Standard Time -7 GMT. I will be on during the afternoon / evenings.
I rarely play regularly on Rappelz now because the friend that I level with is on vacation, however I will be playing more consistently when he is back home.

And sorry Fraisa for being heavy handed. I hope that our trade is conducted in a safe manner and that both parties are happy. I am highly interested in trading with you again if everything goes smoothly.

We can sort out the "increment" trading details when we arrange a meeting time. Also, make sure you read up on some trading rules. I'd recommend checking the scammer accusation thread. They suggest that you screenshot everything and the standard protocol in trades is to state your JSP username and the trade details in game so that moderators can identify the JSP account with the character. This is to prevent scammers from getting away. I recommend that you screenshot our trades if you are feeling unsafe.

Finally, I will stop responding to Knives. Sorry for this Fraisa, I only want to trade you as well.
