last time i heard about habbo hotel was when it came out in the news tat it had a shitload of viruses

Habbo come out in 2000. Do you really think that they would leave it the same 9 years later? But yes, when Habbo was first released there was a lot of problems and the servers could easily be hacked. It's much more secure now. You might be referring to the current .com habbo which came out in 04. But even then, that still did not have any "viruses" but scripting was still possible. It's pretty much eliminated now.

The original habbo hotel is based out of the UK. Since then it has grown more popular so they branched it off to differnt countries. the US habbo is now the .com habbo and the original site is now co.uk.
