how do we get skills? how does a trojan duel wield? what is skill xp? where is phoenix castle? what level should i go to a new town from twin city? is there a quest log? how can i find out which npcs give out quests? and how do i use my skills like earthquake,boom,snow?

skills are either learnt from profession masters at job center (nonweapon skills), or bought in market (weapon skills).
trojan can dual-wield when he reaches lvl 40 and gets promoted to VeteranTrojan at the job center.
skill XP is the kind of soul-collecting count (0~100) that when reaches 100, you may use the XP skill of your class, sort of like the ultimate skills which can only be used once in a while (e.g. for warriors, most powerful XP skill is Superman --- 10x damage and 10x accuracy for 30 seconds, and each monster you kill during then adds another second --- so if you kill fast enough, the superman can last VERY long). do not confuse XP with exp (experience).
phoenix castle is at a different BIG MAP than the one you're in right now (which is called Twin City). talk to Conductress outside the city of TwinCity and ask her to teleport you to phoenix castle. beware, monsters in phoenix castle map can one-hit kill you if you are below lvl 20.
there isn't a quest log, as quests are all thoroughly explained on the main website.
don't worry about quests right now.

earthquake, boom, snow, among many others, are WEAPON SKILLS, meaning they'll be activated (sort of like "PROC" in DII) when you wield the appropriate weapon type. (e.g. snow can only be activated when you wield a wand) --- you have to learn em first though, by buying em in market pharmacist.


my ultimate advice to you to get to know the game is to spend like an hour on the official website.

nah just personal preference.. pick one with one of us in it though.. probably going to gangstah's is ur best bet.. he plays more than i do now.. and he could probably help u ...

Edit: btw.. newer worlds= less high people ... so that would probably b better for you.. so yeah go to like gangstahs.. try to stay away from gem world or animal kingdom.. im in gem>emerald... and im a high lvl but most are.. or try to be lol one of them jsut started like a week ago... u culd go there and be with every1 ur lvl..

not quite, there are numerous (a~two dozen already perhaps) lvl 100+s on MayFaire, and 5 had already rb'd.

i have a prob using my wepon skills,its always dark so i can never use it,and i had a wep skill for my mace - when using a mace its still dark,how can i fix this?

I don't think there are "mace" class weapons in CO, only Clubs, and Hammers.
Anyways, majority of WEAPON SKILLS (skills that are weapon-specific) are PROC ---- I mentioned this in my PM to help you Kiston, looks like you didn't pay attention.
When you've learned one, and is using a correct type weapon, the skill will trigger randomly (~10~20% for beginner skill levels, depending on the weapon skills) AS you attack things. You CAN'T select them.

If you want selectable skills, use taoists class --- all their skills are selectable.
