First off is this game fun and worth playing, and if so should i choose mage or sorcerer as my class. I want a good balance of damage and survivability

I just started playing last week.. and so far im not even bored of it.

Sorc porbably.. they can tank and do decent damage... or titan... im using a level 23 healer
She can tank level 18 drakes and a little higher as well..

But yeah its all up to you...any class is good u just have to mess around with them

Use your FG to buy items/Gold if uwant a good start.

Welcome, this is a fun game

if you want survivability and at least decent damage then you should go sorc.

Mages have really high damage but can't survive for shit alone when you are starting out.
