this game is completely free. the only things that you can use money to buy are event items that merge with regular items, like a santa hat that merges with a real helm (just for looks).

actually, you dont even need money for that either. you get "Aeria points" for using their forums and spreading Last Chaos and adding them to myspace and xfire (etc.)

not unless its highly important to you to have a chinese bathing suit set just for looks. anyways if someone buys a santa hat or whatever and doesnt want it anymore they just sell it in the market place for gold. there are no items that you cant get by buying them on the market.

is it like runescape? if so, nub!

haha, no I cant tolerate playing such a shitty, boring game like runescape. this game actually has great graphics and gameplay.

I dont consider runescape as a game, I consider it a failed attempt to make farming, tree cutting, fishing and lack of hack and slash gaming fun.

Actually, for 3d mmo games, better graphics, worse graphics, doesnt matter much since they all look pretty much the same, only bit more details and realism in more massive games e.g. WoW.

I do care, however, very much about the combat system in this game. if its none other than CS ctrls and some skillkeys to press, then It sucks; DII system wayy better lol....anyways my question is this:

Is the combat system in LC more oriented toward SKILL-BASED or GEAR-BASED? especially the pvp system (the pvm system i wanna hear too).

Please do simply answer the above question lol, ignore the lines before that, they were just my thoughts.

alright, I'd be happy to. in this game gear really does matter, as does how much gold you have.
you will start off with the regular gear that you can buy from the merchants with no mods on them, or you can buy some modded ones from people in town marketing.
the thing with this game is you can unlock bloodseal sockets in your gear and add bloodseals to them in order to add random mods. eventually you will have gear that you can use "extreme" stones on like heaven stones or special kind of stones that are hard to find.

when you're grinding experience to get to your next level it can get boring, so they made it so that once you attack an enemy it keeps auto attacking that enemy, BUT you will be dependent on certain skills that either kill faster or help give you the upper hand of the battles. there are many passive skills too. I guess what I'm saying is, it would be difficult to use the auto attack to get somewhere in this game.

pvping is real fun, and so is pking. in this game you can ask people to duel out on the field or you can duel them in town and you will get reputation points for being successful in pvping. once you get a certain amount of reputation points you will get your name changed blue and you can buy certain powerful gear that only the worthy can wear.

pking is real fun too. if you're out grinding for experience and get bored and some asshole decides to show off, you can turn on pk mode and duel him whether he is willing or not, unless he quickly tp's or runs away. after pking a player your reputation will go down and you will start a bad reputation and your name will change red.

if you get a red name there are people who hunt down red named players for a living to get reputation for bounty hunting them.

there are also tons of quest items and tons of other various items in the game that also play a big role in the game like Physical Defense/ofense minerals/potions that add to your attack/defense for an amount of time. also there are orbs that give you more experience gain for an amount of time and speed. this games great for items.

I don't know if these blessed rewards are permate or not but they make the game a lot more fun at higher lvls.

it started off windowed for me but I changed it to full screen since I wasnt multitasking.

I got my rogue to lvl23 but been switching back and forth also playing a GREAT game called Granado Espada.

I might make a guild pretty soon though once I get a few more levels.

They have really cool events to like double exp double skills double drops and blessed gifts ones which is this weekend rules.
