Why does it matter when ppl say they want say for instance a soj and they want the ring to be a certain color or charms that are certain shape/design? Is it vanity or is there some kind of hidden bonus.

when people are looking for certain skin on items it's just for style They want matching pair of rings for example etc. There are no hidden bonuses.
