What is the best with few fgs

Barbarian.

Put the first ten stat points into vitality, then put your points from leveling up into strength. Look for weapons you can use that have "enhanced effect" and chain/plate mails with the same. Look for strength on charms. You can get by with pretty cheap gear if you grind a bit. The main thing you want to do here, if you play with a group, is have a lot of life and at least a bit of EE on your armor so you can take a few hits while someone else heals.

i prefer club but axe or sword aren t more polyvalent ( for other class )

cheapest: club (pass once and you'll need a new weapon for samurai)

short term : sword (will get you all the way to monk but expensive)

long term: axe and dagger (covers every melee class in the game, hard to find and expensive)

Your first few climbs you shouldnt focus too much on it, buy whatever your character can wear to cut down on that god awful first climb. eventually you will need an axe or battleaxe set for headhunter so:
axe>baxe>dagger>sword>club>everything else,
but like i said, i'd stick to just collecting anything you can wear until 71 and worry about getting a set together once you have a better feel for the game.

Its not fun to group slash, but caster gear is a lot cheaper. Again not as fun but you can cast even as a sami / paladin / monk / ninja and the int gear for the heavy chars is really cheap.

Ive gone caster through Monk... Samurai really sucks, and you probably want to melee until 35-45 or so (when weapons get really expensive)... but its doable especially if you're having a tough time finding groups.
