Already heard that using abilities on wells/eps reduce chance of drops.

Imo i dont see how it could be true, but curious to see others opion

I dont use abilities due to Prof-gain while soloing. I use them in groups.


The only reason that could change the amount of items dropped would be if the ep is classified harder as it is.
This would mean new ppl with low gear would get better drops and killing a lvl 60 mob with a t3 weapon would increase them too.

For me, it doesnt work this way since it allready had been discovered and abused

imo it does afect the drops, dunno just i feel when i use abilities always eps doesnt drop anything at all :S

I am one of the people that think abilities that hit a monster for 25%+ of their hp does hurt the drops. Just from my experience of course. Nobody has 100% proof if using abilities matters or not but from what I've seen, I usually get more/better drops when not using abilities on ep's. Either way, the odds of finding something very good is slim to none xD

im sorta with u on this one, i do alot of ep hunts at 71 + and it seems when i use powerstrike to kill one, it dont drop anything most the time, but when i finish one off with just attacks, i get 2-3 drops

so who knows, but it be nice to test this some more and see what happens
