Hello everybody,

I'll give a try to fire mage on HC. But i dont really know how to build it.

I think i'll mostly solo or exploring in groups.

Can you please give me some advices concerning stats and abilities i should take ?

Add vita to 50-80
Rest to int
You have mq'd enough times that you should know how much vita you need.

Use pierce, pillar, a powercast.
swap in multi heal if playing group

Be prepared to regen a lot if playing solo. Or shrine in groups.
I would advise you keep playing melee, as you have done this several times already... But to each their own.

Thanks a lot for your advices on abilities.
I just wanted to give it a try. And yes I confirm made it up to level 25 and shrined all I find + regen.

Melee must be the best solo option even if casting is fun.
I may not cast again if I still have huge mana issues at higher levels

casting solo is very hard on mage, warlock is better. but caster in a group is always needed so its good to have a mage on standby

I'll try to get better int gear / heals then to be more efficient in groups.

If you have never played mage on hc before, you may want more vita than suggested. I'd go 80-100, personally I do 100 for the extra safety net. Rest int ofc.

At low lvls, +life and +Mana gear are more important than intel. I start using int gear at lvl 10 or 15, and ee casting/heals.

Soloing is a bitch, but group play is nice. Mages are pretty dependant on shrines so having some fish or comfreys will help supplement the need for hp/mana. Regen gear is also useful.
