1) How fast you level is mainly dependent on your gear.

2) You have yet to unlock the class that i believe is the fastest.

They all have pro's / con's

There isn't a fastest without gear basically.

People like Fighter or barb, then there would be rogue because of versatility of items etc... I personally like guardians, but the main con for this character is the gear dependency.

People increase their climbs [solo'ing mostly] with having alot of shrineable items, regen gear and so forth.

Fighter Rogue Barb are all easy classes to play and gear up.

Mage is sexy but takes more skill/investment.

Guardian is a beast but gear dependant to perform well.

The speed at which you can climb is relevant to a few things, including how much you invest and the people you play with. Character type plays much less of a role in this equation.

If you wanna invest really much mage would be the best way ofc then (but you need to pay thousands of fg for gear and buying lots of fish/comfreys). Will be so fast. :)

If you have a really low budget make a rogue with staff set and medium ee armors.

Otherwise: Barb.

But GL anyhow! :)
