ok so I see people now just stack mass ee and it works fine with a healer no probs

however I got bored with this after 1 run...
everytime a healer has to heal me... that's 1 less atk they do. my idea
is to stack 12-15%leech along with 150-170ee armor. and see how much
I can reduce my dependence on the healers.

I figure ill also try to get as much
return dmg stat as I can to help make up 4 the lack of main stat on my armor.
and obviously parry for that dodge chance 8-)

currently have a charm that's perfect 4 this

I know the str should be higher however I feel the damage return on this charm will make up for me having a lil less str

If life steal were working the way it used to, this would be a very good idea.
But a 7% Life Steal item does not, in effect steal 7% life each time you attack.
All it does is give you a chance to have it actually work, and then only for 1% to 7%.

At best, it is extremely unreliable, and most players prefer a good dependable healer in company rather than rely on Life Steal for a successful climb

The same can be said for Damage Return. You only get a chance to use it, and then you can get anything from 1 - xx

Parry is also nerfed in the same manner

life leech only works very well against eps.
the mod itself is a really nice add.. but nothing you should only aim for to get.

the dmg return is pretty useless.. as it is only a low percentage and monsters dont do as much dmg to you as you normally do to them (at least they shouldnt ^^)

as rick said.. the lifeleech isnt working 100% as it used to be. with my 4ll i am leeching around 2-15 life in normal hits and around 5-30 or 40 against eps. (although i should leach constant 20-40 if i do 500-1000 dmg each hit)


tldr: life leech is nice to have.. but dont sacrify too much dmg for it

I'd never need to regen with longsword lol

Not many options for builds since stat nerfs and weapon ratios.

ye I use ls's powershot up to 40k dmg and now have 11% leech on my mq gear

well that sux still I cant wait to get to 55 and test this out even if it helps a little I didn't spend a fortune on the extra stats
maybe 150 over what I would have on the same items w/o leech

While what the people above have said is true about lifesteal not procing on every hit but thats OP anyway. This guy however amassed quite amazing lifesteal gear and used it for ages.
