Right... let us start with some Basics... and then some links for you to read and watch vid:

General Information:
Feeder Classes: Fighter [] Barbarian [] Rogue [] Mage [] Guardian
These are the characters you will start out with, when you reach level 71 on your character, a new area will be unlocked, this is
where you enter and complete your "Master Quest". If you succeed, you unlock the next class, ALL weapons and proficiencies you
have gained are kept whether you Pass OR Fail.

Catacombs is where you go to kill monsters. You can move your character using the <> next to your character either: Back (least dmg) / Middle (avg dmg) / Front (most dmg)
Moving around catacombs can be done with W (up) A (left) S (down) D (right) or Arrow keys.
After Encounters: Press "G" (engage map) or move your cursor over the symbol underneath the Door to engage (to resume moving in catacombs)
Hotkeys: Q = Weapon, E = Main Charm, R = Acc Charm, I = Inventory, O = Item Drop Box & V = Vault
C = Character Screen (add stats/ability points), P = Proficiencies, F = Find Group (create/exit group <-- outside of the catacombs)

Shrine: Outside of catacombs, Murukar will consume junk magical + items (excluding rods) to give back a portion of life & mana.
NOTE: do NOT shrine your items that you use.

Transferring items from your character to a mule. Ensure you have created another character firstly (maybe more). When you want to transfer items over, go to the Marketplace
and hit the "Transfer" tab, you will see your characters listed, click on one, put item in the box and bingo... you can click to transfer.

Enhanced Effect (ee) only effects the item it is on, e.g. armor = defense / weapon = damage / cast charm = damage / heal charm = heal
Heal Mastery (hm) is basically another enhanced effect for Heal charms
ACC Slot: ONLY enhanced effect is applicable, no other mods. Also, charms placed here are reduced 25% by effectiveness and mana cost
Wpn/Charm Proficiencies: You gain from 1 to 10(max) points per WAVE encountered. Level and monster level MUST be higher than Rank to gain profs. e.g. Rank1 sword = level 2+ character
Starting Stat Points: Start with 10 & maximum = 20: +1 stat based on failed MQ attempts. Unlocked classes (fail attempts are increased by one per pass)
e.g. Samurai (2 fails = 1 extra stat), Paladin (3 fails = 1 extra stat) etc
Ability Points: you start with 1 and gain an additional 1 per level or 5s... e.g. 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 etc
Objectives: These are side quests, they activate based on level and completion. Only three (3) can activate at a time. 95% of these require 4-5 people in a group to complete consecutively.

Barbarian is actually the easiest but the Guardian is more fun if you're a beginner.

This is far better than anything in the guide collection.

I made it to lvl 15, and I'm still confused by a few things.

Catacombs.... is there any indication of what level you are on? if you fall through a trap door does that mean harder monsters, or just a reset of the maze? Are monster levels soloy determined by your level? or is gear factor in too? If monsters are determined by your level is there any reason to explore the catacombs and not just put it on auto-move? I guess just to get more evil-encounters and treasure chests from maze resets?

trap doors increase monster level = harder mobs, more exp and better drops
