I keep using flame counter whenever there is a flame and the fucking bar goes up.... I'm raging someone help before I decide to never give this game another chance

You are probably too slow, remember there is a 1 second delay between each action

Then I'm probabaly going too fast either way its not working, I hit it as soon as it comes up and it still goes up... I really wanna try this game out but I hate spending soo much time trying to cook a fish now the snag shit is doing the same thing....

Try slashing to enjoy the game. Skilling is boring.

Basically...

They have a turn and you have to counter in your turn.
Also... try to change your Graphic Settings, maybe it is too high.

I had the same problem with cooking so I didnt bother



when its slow (like now) its the only thing to keep a person interested.

think of it as a turn by turn attack/defend. Where you also have to time your clicks to sync. Do not hold the button down either, that just makes you lose too.

You're only pressing the flame counter once correct? Clicking it more than once will cause it to go up. Just a single click is all you need.

try to do single clicks once every second.. i do mostly the first click and click again after the other bar moved.. and if there is a flame you just have to click once after that.. single clicks is what helped me with fishing and cooking
