... if :

I have the attacking charm in the right slot and an intelligence charm in the first to amplify the damage - does it work ?
Questioning this because the symbol of the attacking charm shows me the intelligence attack bonus boost - but in game in fact I do less damage.

Two possible explanations to my mind (help me) :

1. The int from weapon and armor doesnt count for the rightcharm slot.
2. The displayed dmgupgrade doesnt count for real, it is just shown.

- that true ? Another reason ?

Thx in advance, Verdun

p.s. Edit orthographics

If your attack charm is in Acc slot, it will NOT show the true damage on your character screen.
When you use +int items, it does increase your dmg, you can check this by hovering over your main charm
when you put your int item on... or off.

Using your attack charm in Main slot will be its' true dmg, but then mana cost is higher.

An extract of th pm'ing izParagonzi, maybe useful for ppl having the same question :

Acc = Enhanced Effect ONLY... no other mods

What people tend to do with casters.

1. Have a heal charm
2. Use the best charm in Main slot (this refers to mods) that benefit either charms

example: Ice xx%ee with like 25 int mod in Main slot... heal charm xx%ee (no mods) in the ACC slot

I use to use Focus heal in my main slot, but, it also had 3x Int mod... it came in handy when casting / healing

Hope this helps

the 2nd slot works with 75% effectiveness (not shown).. but also 75% of mana cost.. so you need a good amount of int on the first slot to do more than 100% normal dmg.. i think it should be at least 50int on the high lvls.. this is only useful if you have other healers in the team as you cant (mostly) heal with your int charm

Yup... maybe I should have been a bit more specific on my reply...

My focus heal was 125% ee + 3x Intelligence... which I placed in my main slot and used my Cast charm in Acc slot.
Int is more beneficial for Casting charms in Acc
Heal Mastery is more beneficial for Healing charms in Acc

example: 1xx ee / + 25% Heal mastery Ice charm in Main slot and 1xx ee Heal type charm in Acc

you need 45 int to offset the acc slots' drawback, i believe.

it all depends on ur total int at the time. if you have very low int you can offset the 75% of the acc slot with a lower int (maybe even as low as 30-35 int charm), however if u have lots of int you may never be able to add the 25% that you are losing from acc slot, even with, say a 50+ int charm.

Its +71 int from rest gear, the charm doing 40 (or 41 if I use the heal) int. Seems sufficient to me :)
