i have 11 ability points - one i set into powercast

how i should skill the rest?

pilarcast, and powershot would i do... but you could skill the piercecast to..

i am not so exoerienced yet

so i dont know what best, i just do it like this

i like to use all the mage abilities
and you should stat them as you go next time, useless to wait until level 57
~4 points into each, if you only play solo maybe try salvation
(Note: you can only have 3 abilities)

but whats the diifferent of this 3 abilities - my english is not really good

i just thought column hit all monsters? but it seems not so ^^

here are the monsters that can spawn

123
456
789

column=147 or 258 or 369
row= 123 or 456 or 789

This you can get ALL of them to 66% and that helps alot for cata. not so much in solo for solo try salvation as he says even with weak heals you can stay alive quite easily
