so i passed to monk yesterday and i have no idea how to play him^^

i do not have any ee staff or dagger sets...

is it hard to play a casting monk?

im thnkful for any kind of help

casting is possible.. will be a bit annoying especially at the lower lvls because of the low mana.. put simply all into int and stat the 3 mage abilities evenly (first 3 points into one of them, then 3 into the next and 3 into the 3rd.. after that add the next points evenly to the 3 abilities)
i would still suggest getting at least a lvl 1-5-10 dagger to start with melee.. (also 15dex robe/charm and maybe a lvl 10 dex robe/charm and daggers for lvl 15 and 20.. ) at lvl 20 or 25 you can start casting

You can cast but if your short on FG staffs are a nice way to go as they are cheap and effective.
If you dont have EE daggers though you will need when you pass again for ninja

dont cast monk it sucks even with good gear i hate it
buy cheap staffs and dex gear they are great as melee and have good abilities

You need extremely good gear to be a good caster monk and you will still need to shrine a lot to regen mana.

I'm guessing you used swords for feeder-paladin? If yes, I suggest you buy an ee staff set to use for monk and continue to play melee.
