Hey all --

So I'm completely new to LS and I decided to make a fighter class. I have been looking around at various builds/etc, and I just have one main question: half of the information I have gathered says to put all the stat points into STR, and the other half says to put all the stat points into DEX. My question is, what is the best stating, or are either of these viable options and depend largely on personal preference?

well a fighter is normaly a fighter class barb is more for tanking so if ur going for raw damage go scales/leathers high str or dex high ee wep i like clubs or swords and a high str charm or dex

with your question str or dex it dosent matter really its preference also lets say u can get cheapier str gear go with str or vice versa also remeber to put all points into which u choose like str or dex also put all points into powerstrike and the other one forgot name but not the caster one also put as high ee charm in ur account one as u get 50% of it back so if its 80ee u get 40 to u hope it helps:P\

depends on what type of weapon your going to use

To be honest, whichever is cheapest

If I am level 14 and already put all points into dex, should I just continue to funnel them into dex from now on?

if pumping all dex on a fighter then the only weapon choices u really have are axes,spear,and polearms. spear and polearms are both heavy weapons so they do twice as much damage but take twice as long to attack.

if you are going with fighter i'd suggest you using swords as your upcoming 2 chars ( samurai, Paladin) can use swords, too

as you see in my link posted above there are weapon ratios... if you are going with swords or clubs you should go all into str as that gives the best dmg, if you are going with axes it doesn't matter, staffs and dagger( no options for you) are weapon increased by your dex

charms in acc slot gives you 75% of their full power, not 50%
enhanced effect does its effect only at the item it is at...
so charms doesn't increase the power of weapons

Also, is it best to simply group catacombs for the first climb, or is soloing an option?

i'd suggest to cata if you find a group else solo just to get as high as possible and improve from time to time
