Best weapon / armor for a fighter?

I think tanking and just purely wrecking the catas up is my goal.


Something that is good alone and even better with a team.

Get swords they will last you for the first three classes Fighter Sami and Pali.

Okay, what armor is best?

leathers or scales are the best, but very expensive, imo chains are good for beginers, they tank good, work for the first three classes and are not too expensive

Do you know how much I'd be spending for a full set from 1 to 70s?

thats very hard to say, it depends on the gear you want, it can be 500fg for low stuff and all your fg for better items

my advice: (these are the main stats you have to get on your items)
- try to get weapons and armors for the following levels: 0 5 10 15 25 35 45 55
- weapons, swords: 0: 50+ enhanced effect; 5: 60+ enhanced effect; 10: 70+ enhanced effect; 15: 80+ enhanced effect; 25: 90+ enhanced effect; 35: 100+ enhanced effect; 45: 110+ enhanced effect; 55: 120+ enhanced effect
- same for armors (chains cheap; leathers/scales expensive), u wont need enhanced effect at lvl 0 and 5, so get a good str/life armor for lvl 0, it will be good enough till lvl 10
- try to get charms with strength, u wont need them for all the levels when u need a new armor or weapon, lets say: 0: 15 strength; 10: 22+ strength; 30: 30+ strentgh; 55: 40+ strength

nice adds for a tanker/fighter on your items are: life, vitality, life steal, life per kill, life per attack, strength, magic luck, power shot, armor pierce, critical strike

I have a question to add ...


The fighter's special abilities (power strike, bottom's up, topsmash) ... is it a good idea to get and use all three, or should a player really just focus on one ability?

Also ... what effect (if any) does your proficiency have on the use of your weapons of choice?

for everyone 1 lvl in a certain proficiency,it boosts your damage by 1enhanced effect. so lets say you have a lvl 5 sword proficiency. And lets say your lvl 55 sword is 125ee.the proficiency actually boosts it to 130ee now. (however its not visible on the item,the damage is still there)
