after you complete the master quest on one of the starting classes in my case a magician. You unlock the new class,
my question is do you have to go up to 71 and complete the master quest on the new class or can it just be another account that hasn't completed the master quest yet.

another way of stating this, could i make 5 magicians and complete the MQ on each of the accounts to unlock 5 new playable characters?

you can only mq a character at level 71. if the other four magicians are 71 too, then go for it!
and you can only have one account.

yeah, sorry i read it over and its terrible written, ill try to explain better. i think you unlock the samurai after you complete your first MQ so do i have to make a new character as a samurai and level that up to 71 to get the new character
or can it be another starting class?

if you pass you can choose to climb again as magician. but you won't be able to unlock paladin, or get the bonus for passing.

but you have 15 more character slots if you wanna stay magician and get the extra guild points for passing!

see those numbers next to each guild in the guild list? those are the total amount of guild points earned by members for that guild

Guild points are a status symbol more than anything and show one's achievements. They do not provide any actual reward.
