I always hear people talking about muting on ls. I probably sound like a crazy noob but what is muting?

I'ld like some further information on this subject ...

When transmuting, how fast do most people generally click their mouse buttons?

Is there a common methodology to how you balance the stability and the transmutation process?

Are there any modifiers for your equipment that would assist you in making it easier to complete a transmutation?

Does it become easier to transmute the lower items as you "level up" as a transmutation user?

Are you required to be able to equip items of the appropriate tier in order to transmute them?



I just started playing ladder slasher last night, and after looking through a good bit of the stickies and guides, none of these questions were answered...
