Just wondering what the best secondary ability to get would be for a fighter, or whether it's best to just use one.

Currently I've put all my points into Powerstrike up untill lvl 35.

Try Knockdown.

I know it's a Barbarian ability, but after a few invested points it really becomes useful at clearing a row. It is superior to Bottomsup in my opinion, in the fact that you can pick any row instead of just the bottom.

AoE-based abilities are much needed to speed up groups and help you distribute more damage.

Yeah but it charges much slower.

I would go with bottums up. Especially when in groups. Plenty of mobs spawning in all ranges and it wont really matter as much what row they are in.
You will be able to get off ~twice as many shots with bottoms up and that will more than makeup for its set range.

I wouldnt say much slower, but yes, it is slower being a Barbarian skill on a Fighter. You can make up for that by adding more points, and if all they are doing is going pure Powerstrike, they have a lot of room to modify the build.

I used to use Bottomsup all the time until I tried Knockdown a few times on Fighter and was hooked. I pick it every single time now on Fighter simply because it is more powerful than going Multistrike on him, and yet lets me pick any row to destroy instead of just the occasional bottom. There are not always a full row on bottom, so I found myself sometimes overcharging it and not being able to let it loose.

I suggest trying BOTH and figure out which you prefer. ;)

I strongly recommend Multi-strike as a fighter skill. Yes, I know it's designated for Samurai, but it works well for any melee char.

Advantage -- it hits everything on the screen. You don't have to pick and choose, or wait for the ''proper'' configuration in order to activate it.

If you have it charged to 100% or higher, the mobs know they have been whacked
