for gear im going axes and daggers for melee and charms ofc for casters.

i know how to properly stat for gear in sc but for hc how much vit should go into each char??

I am on my 5th HC climb, so still a newbie, but I can say at least 75-80 Vita would be a safe place to start, you might want more. I feel comfortable using mediocre gear with that amount, and I have done a fair bit of solo grinding as well as playing in groups.

So far I have added 5-10 total stats into either class i play. Rest into my main stats, I do not have uber gear, I have geared with my medicore fg amount. I have passed my first mq, and climbing 2 chars now.

Yes, I mainly go melee/tanker Barbarian. Up front, usually with someone else but depends on group.

Fish & Comfreys can help make you feel a bit safer, as can some sexy Glyphs.

now what about a solo weller mage?

romeo is giving you pretty solid advice.

for solo with great gear i still stat 65 vita on an EE armor wearer, so with average to mediocre gear i'd suggest 75-80 vita for solo

for catas generally the same applies if you're the tanker

for catas if you're not the tanker i'd still go 60 vit in the back



welling as you know is so much easier now... i'd say you'd be fine going 65 vit, as you can town whenever you want

the hardest thing on HC is soloing and coming across 3 EPs at lvl 60+, welling is not hard
