got my Rogue at lvl 45 now and wondering why he does so few critical hits.... can u help me??

This is his Equipment atm:

Weapon:Rare diamond dagger
Level Req: 40
Damage: 170 to 297
+66% Enhanced Effect
+14% Heal Mastery

Armor: Angelic chitin scale armor
Level Req: 35
Physical Defense: 13 to 52
Magical Defense: 12 to 36
+8 Dexterity
+3% Experience Gained
+8% Heal Mastery
+4 Jubilance

Charm: Level Req: 20
Heals: 42 to 50
Mana Cost: 53
+22 Dexterity
+3% Armor Pierce
+1% Magical Damage Reduction

Acc Charm: Magical wild heal IX
Level Req: 30
Heals: 19 to 193
Mana Cost: 69
+79% Enhanced Effect

Statting atm:
Strength: 30
Dexterity: 120
Intelligence: 25
Vitality: 35

Daggers don't crit as often as say a Sword does. You would have to find gear with +Crit Strike to increase them, as well as try to stat close to the damage ratio, and for daggers that is 90/10 Dex/Str.


Perhaps try using a few +Crit Strike glyphs? I have a couple on my market for 1fg right now, and usually keep a few on there.

Crits don't really matter so much as overall damage in my opinion. I'd recommend getting a medium armor with 20+ dex and you'll see an increase in damage

Don't sacrifice your damage just to hit a few more red numbers.




Daggers are a fine weapon, they just don't crit very often compared to say a sword. They still can do very nice damage if you build your character appropriately. Do as Nev said, get a Dex armor and you will see an increase in your damage.

Also using your Abilities correctly and often will also increase your damage over time.

and if u campare daggers to staffs: are they crit more often then daggers?

Because they are al little cheaper (i guess) and do more damage. do they??

Just thinking to get a staff instead of a dagger....

In theory, all weapons do the same average damage.

Yes, staffs are cheaper, but only usable by a few classes. (feeder, monk, warlock)

Personally, i would continue to use daggers. That way you wont have to buy more weapons if you pass to samurai.
