items u need to buy - that's ur choice rly, u can either go for:
swords - which are the most expensive of these 3 but can be used until monk
clubs - quite cheap but u need to get urself a new set of daggers after passing to samu
axes - cheap but not as effective as the ones mentioned above + u need a set of daggers after passing to samu

i'd personally go for swords as this gives u roughly ~10 mqs to see how ls works and hopefully to gain some fg before having to buy a new set of weapons

armors - either ones with strength or enhanced effect, again, depends on what u prefer but if i were u i'd go for tanks since they work well with retribution and are good in cataing in group as well as in soloing
charm - str if u're planning to use swords or clubs, dex if u're going for axes but i wouldn't advise it if u just started ls
