now days? havent played LS in abit over 6 months, and theres abilities and stuff now, can someone explain how you guys are building them now? sc-wise. thx

As always, actually :)
example:
weap: int (good adds HM, max mana)
armor int (good adds HM, max mana
1. charm ee ( caster charm)
2. charm ee ( heal charm )

i would suggest you take the mage abilitis for mage:
Piercecast:
Hits any row ( with 1 hit)
charges with casts

Powercast:
Hits 1 taged for alot
charges with casts

Pillarcasts:
Hits any column
charges with casts

i would suggest to skill Powercast ( for evil) and Piercecast :)

Max Mana gear is helpful at lower levels. (Weapon/Armor) This lets you cast/heal for longer periods of time before you have to shrine.


Later on, say level 25+ or so when your mana pool becomes larger, you can switch to +Intelligence or +Heal Mastery gear (or both) depending on your role (does group need damage or heals more?)



Mage is a fun class indeed. I would also recommend statting a few VIT, they are paper thin and the extra HP boost can save your life later on in the climb. 5-10 is recommended, then pump INT, on HC you would (hopefully) want much more VIT.
