A friend explained this in vent last week, but I only caught the tail end of the discussion, and I can't find any guides/explanations for it. From what I gathered, the ideal stat allocation is in the ratio described in the LS Portal, i.e.: The best stat distribution would be(Theoretically), 30 str/270 dex when using a dagger on a Rogue, which has a 10 str/90 dex ratio.
Also, I can't remember where I saw this, but I remember seeing that the lower number of the ratio determines the chance to hit a critical strike, and the higher number of the ratio determines the normal damage.
I haven't had the opportunity to test either of these out, but I wanted to figure it out before buying all the wrong gear. I'm in the process of gearing my paladin, and I was wondering which kind of stat gear I should buy, and where I should put my points when using an axe. Axes have a ratio of 50/50, so if the second theory is true, I have no clue how it would work
Thanks in advance.
