Ok so currently i use

Rare sapphire sword
Level Req: 30
Damage: 37 to 378

+109% Enhanced Effect
+1 to 4 Life per Attack

and i saw this ft for a lvl 40 sword

Rare diamond sword
Level Req: 40
Damage: 37 to 378

+125% Enhanced Effect
+2% Magical Damage Reduction

how exactly does that work? the lvl 40 sword has same base dmg but higher ee
is it even beneficial for me to upgrade to that sword or will i basically do the same damage?

what should i look for for a sword in the lvl 40 - 45 range?

Displayed damage means next to nothing. The 40 sword will do significantly more ;)

Exactly. The effectiveness of EE diminishes by about 20% per tier, so a 110ee level 30 sword is about as effective as a 90ee level 35 sword or a 70ee level 40 sword, and so on. Same thing goes for EE armors and charms

Sup buddy

Basically what nevv said, the dmg displayed means nothing. It takes into consideration your stats on who you are viewing it with

You want the highest ee weapons u can get, higher ee is always better at the same tier

It gets a little tricky when u compare different tiers cuz say a lvl 40 sword with 200ee will be roughly approximate to a lvl 50 sword with 150ee or so (there is a calculator I the sc best thread to see what the actual comparison is)

I'd be glad to help you out with anything, PM me anytime man

There is only one thing none mentioned here: you see (what a coincidence!) the same dmg on both swords, because there had to be a difference in strength. Those 2 swords you showed were probably on 2 characters, one with bigger, one with lower strength, or maybe you did something with stats.
