I've looked around, but I can't find a really good explanation of charms anywhere. I'm on my first LS char, a fighter(Lvl 30 atm), and I never use charms. I get the passive bonus from my main charm(Dex, exp gain etc.), but I don't see any use for the accessory charm. I've read that the effects of the acc. charm are halved when used in combat, but is there any bonus from using an acc. charm that has dex or something? I'm not getting any bonus from it.

Also, what does enhanced effect on charms do? Just raise the damage/healing abilities of them?

Acc charm is only used for healing, so as a pure melee char you probably won't use one


And yeah, EE just makes the charm more powerful. And it's 75%, not 50

Your main charm gives the bonuses stated passively. Your accessory charm is only for healing/dealing damage, and the superfluous str/dex etc. mods do nothing.
