iso some opinions about wat to wear on monk healer,
first of all, would u reccomend goin full healer, ie all stats into int, or hybrid, using melee dagger, stat into dex, etc?

also interested in trying ee robes, wat are ur opinions on ee robe healer?
do ppl switch every 5 lvls or longer? wat ee should be aimed for?

pure healers are not needed any more.
i would suggest some kind of hybrid so you can deal at least a little bit of damage.

im not a fan of ee robes. your tank ability is still limited and you lose a lot of melee/heal potential. its not worth it imo

I'd just recommend gearing melee with a heal charm then statting int ;) if you can find dex/int or dex/hm gear that is a plus, but it tends to be expensive and hoarded

Weapons = ee (other mods int / hm / dex)
Armor = Int + Dex or HM + Dex or HM + Int
Main = 33%+ HM + Dex
Acc = EE Heal type

60 max base int and rest dex

i went as hybrid monk several times now..
if healing was needed i used my ee dagger/ hm robe/ dex charm and foc heal ofc..
i could still do about 850 avrg dmg with about 500 avrg heals
going with 30-40% heal back and the rest into double strike/ cross strike.. so you get about 55% of both
heal back because it charges with attacking.. so this is far better than all of the skills that dont charge with attacking (you are a monk with a robe.. you dont want to get a lot hits) and if you want to do nice dmg you dont want to heal to charge.. atm there are a lot guys with robes (monks ninjas warlocks) so there are better chances that there are more guys in the back than in the front (so heal back is better than heal tank imo).. perfect is 1 tank and 4 guys in the back.. so you just need to focuss on healing the tank and simply use healback to heal all other guys. you dont want to be the healer for ambush though.. only if you have a really good group.
i went also for 60 base int and the rest into dex.

simply try to get as much dex/hm you can get with your gear..
i got 176ee dagger, 54hm on robe and 51dex/3hm on charm.. with a 192 foc heal this works great. changing the hm robe to a 54dex robe gives me about 1050 avrg dmg and 320 avrg heals. so if your heals arent needed too much you can simply switch to melee gear.. (~ 1250 avrg dmg full melee) so you pay about 200 avrg dmg to be able to heal and 200 more to be a pretty good healer.

this is what i use stat and wear :

adding 19 starting points into int = 39 int
rest put all into dex (i have ~~230dex at lvl 71)

usually i don't heal till lvl 10 becouse it's too ez

at 10 i wear :

Rare focused heal V
Level Req: 10
Heals: 56 to 68
Mana Cost: 37

+82% Enhanced Effect
+2% Armor Pierce

and hm stuff like : 20hm dagger, 25hm robe, 24hm charm. i switch my dex gear to hm and then heal and then switch dex back on.

i upgrade hm stuff at 25 : 20hm staff, 25 int robe and 31hm charm - i do a combination of int/hm becouse it is the most effective as i have learned

at lvl 30 i wear 127ee foc heal and do average heals of ~~220 while having around 1k mana it works pretty much like a decent healer

then i just upgrade hm stuff and keep my lvl 30 charm becouse it uses only 51 mana. at lvl 45 i switch to : 39int staff, 44hm robe and 49hm charm and do average ~~280 heals

at lvl 55 i use foc heal 105ee and with my hm gear i heal around ~~430 which works pretty nice and i am able to heal a decent tank till mq.

summing up i do average dmg of 950-1k+ with 130ee staff (1,1k+ with 167ee dagger) and heals around ~~430. i have played many climbs with that combination of dex/int/hm gear. average dmg/heals rise when you choose right abilities ofc. gl!

I also recommend this. You can experiment with what amount of INT to use, some go with 70, some go all INT, but yeah, do at least 60-70 INT and then maybe start adding DEX. Get EE weapons, and either Dex gear or HM/INT gear. Also, a few points to VITA never hurt either.

People usually welcome healers, especially if they can also do some halfway decent melee damage.
