I'm going to be a healer monk, My paladin used EE Swords with str items on his charms and armor. Also I had heal side as well. I put 65 into intel and rest into strength. For my monk should I use EE daggers with Dex robes with HM? Also do I use anything into strength?

you can play as a hybrid if you want to attack/heal. This would require points into Int for a sufficient mana pool. I recall stating up to 50 Int works well enough, but perhaps try a few different variations to which amount works for you and your gear options.

if going melee, the monk can only use staffs/daggers/spears (all of which are dex favored weapon ratios)
...so you would be stating int and dex, and most likely using +dex gear (with hybrid friendly mods such as int/hm/max mana, etc)
you will need hard points placed directly into Int for the mana supply and any additional Int from gear would just be a heal booster <-- (but ofc helpful)

you can also choose to cast on monk, but to make it worthwhile it is dependent on hybrid gear.

I'm sure if an experienced hybrid player reads this, they can offer more of an opinion/explanations.

I would play Melee/Healer. Casting on monk is terrible at best, even with thousands of FG worth of casting equipment it is still not very enjoyable. His mana pool is pitiful, so if you cast you won't have much left to heal.

You will want to stat INT until somewhere ~70, then start pumping DEX. A few to VIT at the start won't hurt either.

Grab some EE weapons, even better if they have INT or HM or MANA on them.

As far as armors, I would try to have a mix bag of stuff to use, and just switch it up when necessary. Use a DEX armor when you don't need to heal a lot, and if you are the main healer, switch to HM armor. You could also bring along both a DEX charm and also a HM charm. Put your EE HEAL in the ACC slot unless you hit something like Ambush and really need the extra heals, then switch it to main.

Thanks answered all my questions.

Melee / Healer:

EE weapons main... levels 5 / 15 / 25 / 35 / 45 / 55
... Adds: Int / HM / Mana / LPA are some good ones as additional adds.

Armor: Padded Robe, preferably with Dexterity + Intelligence OR Dexterity + Heal Master OR Int + Heal mastery
... Adds LPA / CS / Mana / Life

Main charm slot...
Your heal should be here UNLESS you have a 33%+ Heal Mastery charm wtih other mods like Dex or Intelligence to help with melee

Abilities:
3 points Salvation (this comes in very handy)
3 points Crosstrike
3 points Doublestrike

Up your Crosstrike / Double strike evenly... if you want... 4 points into Salvation can also help

Add 5 points to Vitality at the start
Add X points to Intelligence to reach 60 base
Remaining stat points to Dexterity
