In my opinion, I believe Tank / Fighter is the way to go since tank's are in higher demand atm.
As Catacombs, you will be fighting in the front, tanking, while providing DPS.
In terms of gear, you will want to get Enhanced effect armor. The type of armor you will want to be looking for is Chain Mail / Plate Mail since they have the highest Defence. Scale armors are doable as well if you can't find Chain / Plate.
For Weapons, I suggest either Axes / Clubs since they are cheapest on the marketplace. You will want to get Enhanced Effect on your weapon to maximize damage output. The higher the enhanced effect, the higher your damage will be. It is suggested to update your weapon every 5 levels, but since you are tight on FG, try to update your weapons every 10 levels.
As for your charm, you should get the stats according to your weapon of choice. If you're going with Axes, the crit ratio is 50/50 (ex: 50 str / 50 dex will help you maximize your chances of crit) and 90/10 for clubs. So, with Axes, you'll want a charm that has both Strength and Dex and for Clubs, you'll want a charm with Str. Try to get as much stats on possible on your charm. Don't worry about your Accessory charm as that is only helpful for healers who use a heal charm (you will not, you are a tank).
For your stats, I suggest putting your first 10 attributes into Vitality. This will help you have a higher HP pool towards the higher levels.
The rest of the stats can go according to your weapon of choice, as described above.
For your abilities, having Powerstrike is not a bad idea since your weapons are be mediocre judging from your FG. Feel free to get the Abilities with "Charges with Hits Taken" because you will definitely be hit in the front, as a tank.
