Can someone explain to me how to transmute?

take a magical tier I item, drop it in the transmuting box. Press transmute. Click the buttons, don't let the the meter run out.

this. You will be able to do rare, mystical etc etc. as you gain ranks in transmuting. (Paul just added a little help to starters. You can now see what you as a minimum should transmute, glyph, etcetc)
