Year ago I had a few quick mq's with my mage but have since forgotten some of the basic usage of the character.

In the mid and upper levels say 35+ as a mage, most people expect you to heal.

I have forgotten though, do people also expect you to cast, or use a melee crappy attack?

If all i do is heal and wack some guys with my staff I do ok, but in one game I had people telling me to use my fire instead of the staff, it burned my mana very quickly.

What are current game expectations of mage's these days?

Since you can leave your group to go to the town and shrine (regenerate hp/mana), it would make sense for you to heal when necessary and cast with your attack charm for the rest of the time.

many ppl expect you to heal but if u pass their damage, i doubt they will say anything. Though having heal, even a bad one, is good even for ur survival. In case ur mp ends fast, buy a (ur level-5 or 10) lvl charm of damage, so mp cost can be less andd equip it as ACC for 25% less. though i do not like healing too,its inevitable

i do ctrl+click so i splash damage and after that i heal the group
