Strength and Dexterity ratiosAs Paul published Ladder Slasher 1.20 he implemented a new feature to the game. Now you cannot only stat Strength to get your base damage.
You’ll need to check the ratio for your specific weapon.
The ratios can be found
here or in the schedulei made
What do the ratios mean?
Well, that’s a good question. The ratios are based on a base damage factor and a critical strike factor.
It is always the high end which controls the base damage and the low end controls the critical strike (The low end is also controlling the base damage though, but more about that later).
Take a look at a sword for an example:
Ratio is: 75/25 (Strength/Dexterity)
Here you will have to stat strength to get the most base damage.
By saying that the low end controls the critical strike you must have to know that you cannot just stat pure dexterity to get insane critical strikes.
However you should try to meet the ratio, so if you have 50 Dexterity at level 55 you should also have 150 Strength.
How much does each stat effect your weapon?Easy one here, you can just put a 0. in front of the value.
So for each Strength you stat when you are using swords your damage will be enhanced by 0.75% and for each dexterity
you stat you will enhance your sword by 0.25% but remember this: You will need only 1/3 added to dexterity to maximize your critical strike.
A little theory that I have tested For my climbs I always use daggers or axes when I am meleeing, and when I use axes I do critical strikes more often than when I use daggers.
Because of that I assume that the higher the low end is on the ratio the more critical strikes you will do, if the ratio is met.
I'm not saying that you can't do critical strikes more often when using daggers fx. It is just very hard to meet the ratio on a ninja e.g.
