#1

i know an item with 5% life steal is actually 1-5%
but would two life steal items change the minimum to 2%
example 5% on one item and 2 % on another would using both at same time make ur actual life steal 2-7% or would it be 1-7%?

#2 ( for those who are algebra savvy)

dmg used to work( essentially) like this
str multiplier * ee * base dmg = real dmg

since the new patch does dmg work like this?
str muliplier * dex multiplier * ee * base dmg = real dmg
or
like this
str muliplier*( ee * base dmg ) + dex multiplier* (ee * base dmg) - (ee* base dmg) = real dmg

In response to your first question, it would be 1 - 7%, not 2 - 7%, a similar concept to LPK and such.

Depending on the weapon you use, dexterity and strength affect your damage differently.
For more information on that check here : http://ladderslasher.d2jsp.org/index.php?g=3

To answer your algebraic question, I would presume it's this formula : str muliplier * dex multiplier * ee * base dmg = real dmg
just factoring in the percentages from the above link.

Hope this helped!
