Hi, I recently started playing LS (roughly end of last month). And so far, this fighter (in my sig) is my highest. I've bought and currently using some sub-par equipment. Now im looking for someone who's knowledgable about how I can further improve this character. Any gear/charms I may need, should be looking for and I'm not looking to spend a fortune. Because right now I've gotten to lvl 45 and Im sure that none of this gear I have now will be no where near what I'll be needing for 55+
I'm also looking to later in the future reroll this character hopefully once I can pass MQs and pass is gear on to those characters.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Either post in here or PM me if need be.

Builds in this version (1.20) are pretty much straight forward.
Weapons determine the stats you should go for.

http://ladderslasher.d2jsp.org/index.php?g=3
Click on this link and take a look at the ratios provided and try to keep the ratio presented.

For example:
Swords: dump points into strength, but make sure to keep a 3:1 str:dex ratio.

As stated before... the build is detriment to the item... sword / dagger / staff / axe etc for melee characters.
Casting has become a majority build now, thus EE casting charms and some int items with backup heals is ideal.

I saw that you went with Rogue this climb, and also daggers... you will end up spending more fg later on when
you get use to playing Ladder slasher.

If you want some more information, feel free to post some queries in our guide, we try to help as best we can...
even if you are in another guild... we help those that need or want advice.

Another friendly tip, only enhanced effect works in the accessory slot, so placing an item with stats or mods (dex, str, armor pierce, etc.) will not help with anything.

So it'd be more efficient (fg savings) to stick with a caster then?

I honestly don't know why the acc. charm is there since it only affects EE. To me there's real no point if having more than 1 charm if its only for accessorizing. I wished it'd be changed so you could atleast get minor benefits from it (ie: Exp gain/life leech/life regen/ mana regen ect..).

Casting has been improved with 1.20. Being able to shrine now during fights, every character is able to efficiently use charms. I have been a caster since my early slashing days - hell, i even payed caster-sammys. The reward is 14 prof in earth now, wich i can use on every class now. If you have no gear at all, getting good caster gear will pay off fg-wise.

The ACC Slot is very useful. Imagine you are a Caster:

Prime Slot: EE-Charm
Armor: Int
Weapon: int

While prime-casting you only have 2 slots left to boost your charms efficiency. Same is true for weapons. However, if you occupy your ACC-Slot with an EE-Charm, you have 3 Slots left to boost its efficiency. While this may not be viable for damage-dealing because of the -25% penalty (costs -25% mana as well), it is great for healing:

Cast setup:
Int weapon
Int armor
EE Charm
ACC: EE-heal

Heal setup:
Int-Weapon
Int armor
Switch from EE-Charm to HM-Charm
ACC: EE-Heal

Only due to switching gear for healing (you got time for this due to casting delay) my ninja heals an avg of 500. Try it out, you will like acc-healing :)

Also, when looking (or buying) for caster gear.. say 1 item (dmg charm or dagger) has ~25 Int and + mana on it, and another has 400+ mana +EE on it which would be the better when choosing between the two?.. because when looking for new gear, its always been like that. One 2 set of stats or another..

I haven't seen many with decent Int + EE + mana
(if its possible) or mana regen. And I already know Intel for the multiplier is essential, but as far as EE on a charm.. is that worth sacrificing?

EE is the most important stat (say for an example) your attacking charm.
any other mods are just extra bonuses. The higher the EE%, the higher and great damage it will do.

Same goes for your Heal charms, more EE% = better heals.

edit - ehhh, didn;t realize this is like 3 weeks old from his last post. Well, maybe it will still help if he comes back to read it.
