Start Ladder slasher
I'd suggest fighter to start with. Since you have no fg it'll be a little difficult, but just grind it out and you'll make it with a bit of determination just balance your stat points between strength and dexterity, keeping your strength slightly higher and you'll do fine. If you get some fg then try to get cheap weapons and armours with EE and charms with strength or dexterity.
