not quite technically true, you wont fail it, but you will have to attempt it again, so you can keep trying UNTIL you fail.

this method worls, ive done it lots of times, and i it
just do whataver ur normal key order is....
mine is 213, and if u get pastthe 2nd door to the 3rd door, then dont click last door
just push f5 and repeat until u fail, for +1gp, and +1xtra stat point
