how much Int is needed on your MAIN charm to negate the -% of the ee charm in the ACC slot?

was thinking about boosting up the int with a charm.. but not sure if its worth it..

You doing arena I assume... I would definitely not go that route. I'd use ee charm in main and heal charm in acc. You can get away with your idea at low lvls but not medium to high lvls. You have to regen life and and regen mana. I'd definitely take advantage of how your high int boosts the effectiveness of healing yourself too.

to get the same dmg, you would have to multiply your base dmg by 1.33 using the Int in the main charm.

think of it. moving to the slot gives you 3/4 dmg, aka 75%

so to negate that dmg you must increase by the reciprocal, 4/3. aka 133%

Basically what otter said. The higher the ee on your charm, the more int you need to compensate for that difference.

It's useful to do that in the catas. But in arena, you want to have a heal charm in the ACC, and considering you are HC, it is way to dangerous to do that sort of thing.

Pretty sure James would not be asking if he intented not to go cata
So this is for cata and not arena. He knows that in arena you go with heal charm.

Here is a nice example from Stoke3d about how the int charm works in cata games.

Example:
Primary Slot: 70Int Charm
Secondary Slot: 150EE Charm
Equation = (Primary Slot Int + Secondary Slot EE) * .75
Effective EE in Secondary Slot = (70 +150 = 220) * .75 = 165EE Equiv Charm with 75% of casting cost

Yea... I'm pretty sure he's gonna be in arena for a while. No elemental charm prof at all.

in essence, not it's not worth it in arena.
