Hey so i'm playing Hybrid Paladin. I was wondering for a faster climb but still by keeping good chains, would I wear EE or stats armor? If yes, with axes, would I need dex in your opinion? A critical hit is a critical hit, but better average is probably better than low hit then a good hit. I would like to know your opinion : should I use stat armors to go faster? I only stat till 50/55 intelligence because I have ee armors so if I stat more I'll have a huge lack of damages. EE axes are good. EE armors are good ( should I use stat armors ? if yes, which? Do you need dexterity or more strength all the way? ) I'm also trying to upgrade my strength charms.
That's what I'm using all the way to 71, I'll start from L15 since I'm doing no regen till 15 without EE armor.

Well -- from my experience with Hybrids, if you are soloing, you shouldn't put more than 40 points into intelligence. (so on paladin your first 20 points into intelligence)

I have a friend who does this, he has a little better gear than you, but he plays monk and uses stat robes.

My suggestion would just be to play around with it. The less intelligence, but using EE armors may make it faster, idk.
Maybe try stat at lower levels and EE at higher levels?

It's all preference. I'm a big EE guy, but I've never played with weapons that nice

bigger chains = ee armor
faster kills (more shrines) = stat armor
if you stat str, buy dex stat armor (cuz cheaper.) experiment and find a balance you like. I love paladins.
good advice on the int above.

you should keep in mind that the effective stats boost of the ee on your armours is rather high.
With magic defence tied to your int base, physical dmg to your vit the effective boost in your chars quality in respect to the mobs spawing is pronounced.
It makes it an easy route to build a dominant defensive character, however the speed of kill side of your equation has been nigh on totaly sacrificed.

So yes you can go faster but you should expect the degree of quality of the items you use to increase.
Were I in your shoes I would suggest trying to upgrade the armours you have so there is some relevant side mod. It would keep true to the build style and increase it's quality without any hasty total rewriting which is likely to fail without extensive tests and balance.

lol, what Tim is trying to say here, is that with your build, (which i also agree) you will take next to nonexistant damage, but its going to take you Many more then average hits to kill a monster, because you are missing a whole bunch of stats from the ee armor instead.

so what hes saying, is Keep the EE, because it is impossible to die :P but try to get them with a second meele mod that will increase your overall dmg, and, increase your speed.

Like, obviously, str/dex, but also sneaky ones like Crit flux, power shot, Quick draw, Etc.

am i right tim?
