Hi,

do any of you know how critical strike works for casters? Does it only double damage or does it even add dex to the hit?

It works very well for casters. Int, Crit Strike, Armor Pierce, and Mind Numb all provide a positive impact for casting.

It works just like crit strike dies for melée. I've always wondered though how much of a multiplier crit strike was though

Thats for melee and I don't believe it is the same impact on casting. Not 100% sure on this though.

I think it's safe to say dex does nothing for casting now.
Keep in mind this is coming from a pure melee player ><
