Well, its me Shaggy2Dope, I failed on my first attemp of MQ I currently have 1 proficiency in Axe and Warhammer. Which is the best weapon for a Barbarian to use? Thanks all for your support.

there is no "best" weapon. they all should have the same average in the long run, the only thing that differs are the crits/range of damage on the weapons.

keep in mind the different weapons each class can use. tbh, i would just use the cheapest item with the highest ee possible that would be usable on a barb.

Well, as far as crits/range on weapons, which is most ideal for barbs. Warhammer is what I currently use and there not too expensive. But, swords and clubs i see going for thousands of fg where as warhammer go from 1-10 fg

Clubs overall will be the cheapest. But, the more EE on them the more expensive they will be but you should be able to find a decent setup for cheap.
Although warhammers might look attractive because of the high listed damage, they attack once every 2 seconds while normal weapons attack once every second. So half the actions which turns out to be half the damage

if these are the two options of weapon types u prefer to play with

i will suggest axe
as opposed to warhammer that is only usable on your pala tops

the axe will be usable on both your pala and your headhunter

the axe proficiency is there for the better one to train

i like axe with hi str because hi dex with sword is unrelyable imo

So, if I was to remake a "Axe" Barbarian, should I just ignore my dex and pump all my points into str? Or should I put some into dex? If I should put some into dex, what should it be? Thanks all

Weapon choice should not affect how you put out your stats. And people who say that it does are wrong

Try to keep your strength about 20 points higher than your dex (with gear) and you'll do great with any weapon type.

i didnt put any dex into axe barb over 140 str but i dnt get allot of crits at all up 2 u really gl
